Tranvía de Parla reinforces its commitment to equality by signing its Second Equality Plan
Tranvía de Parla has signed its Second Equality Plan 2026–2030, reaffirming its commitment to equal treatment and opportunities for women and men in the workplace.
This new document, drawn up through a collaborative and participatory process, is based on an updated assessment of the internal situation and sets out a series of objectives, actions and monitoring mechanisms aimed at advancing towards real and effective equality.
Key areas of focus include ensuring equal treatment and opportunities across all company processes; promoting an inclusive working environment, free from discrimination on the grounds of gender; strengthening equal pay and wage transparency; the promotion of work-life balance measures that facilitate the compatibility of personal, family and working life; the prevention of harassment through specific protocols, awareness-raising initiatives and confidential reporting mechanisms; the promotion of training, career progression and access to employment under conditions of equity; and the establishment of robust monitoring and evaluation systems to ensure their effectiveness throughout the 2026–2030 period.
The approval of this Second Equality Plan confirms Tranvía de Parla’s commitment to regulatory compliance in the area of equality and to the implementation of progressive policies that promote gender equality in the workplace. This document incorporates a system of regular monitoring that will enable the impact of the measures implemented to be assessed and the plan to be adapted to the actual needs of the workforce, ensuring its continuous improvement.
