FCC Concessions increases its revenue by 26% during the first quarter of 2025

FCC Concessions has increased its revenue by 26.5% during the first quarter of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024. Revenue reached €21.5 million due to the start of development of the Aragón road concession, higher demand on the Zaragoza tram network and the consolidation of the Parla tram concession following the acquisition of its entire share capital in April 2024.
By geographical area, most of the revenue was generated in Spain, reaching €20.1 million, 93.5% of the total, whose most important assets are the Conquense motorway and the Murcia tramway. It is worth noting the changes in traffic and demand levels, where there has been an increase in passenger numbers on urban public transport concessions. Internationally, the Coatzacoalcos Tunnel concession in Mexico slightly increased its turnover, while Cemark in Portugal was removed from the portfolio in the area due to divestment in 2024.
Gross operating profit reached €13.7 million, an increase of 13.2% compared to the same period in 2024. The operating margin stood at 63.7% for the period.
Operating Milestones and Contracting

The opening to traffic of three of the five sections into which the concession is divided is a major milestone, after more than four years of construction work. The remaining two sections are expected to come into operation in July 2025.
- In February, resurfacing work was completed on the Ibiza-San Antonio road. The work consisted of repairing specific areas of the road surface and resurfacing the entire section.
- On 26 March, the Barcelona Port Authority awarded the Blue Tech Port concession to World Trade Center (in which FCC Concesiones holds a 24% stake) for a period of 36 years, with a planned investment of €45 million.
